Problema con alineación de capas

¡Hola!
A ver si vosotros podeis echarme una mano que ya estoy un poco rallada con este temilla xD

Resulta que me gustaría hacer un estilo para CSSZengarden (más que nada para practicar porque no me manejo muy allá con el CSS), entonces únicamente puedo manejar el CSS.

Ahora os paso el código de la hoja de estilos, el problema, es que tengo la capa container de 750px, cuya alineación es al centro (igual que puse en el body) y en el IE explorer me lo pone correctamente, pero en cambio en el Firefox no hay manera de que me lo muestre bien. ¡Ya no se qué más hacer! Voy a comprobarlo ahora en Ópera, pero me da que será la misma situación que con Firefox. Aquí os dejo el código a ver si sabéis decirme algo:
