cerrar una aplicacion desde windows xp

hola de nuevo tepitenio, me descargue el zip que contiene la aplicacion, lo descomprimi, luego le di al fichero setup.exe para instalarlo, y al rato me salio esta ventana de advertencia:

"setup cannot continue because some system files are out fo date on your system. click OK if you would like setup to update
these files for you now. You will need to restart windows before you can run setup again. click cancel to exit setup winthourt updating
system files.

si le doy aceptar me sale otra ventana diciendome
do you want to restar windows now? if you chooose "no", you will not be able to run setup again until after the systems is rebooted al
a later time."

le di a reiniciar pc, volvi a hacer doble click en el setup, y me volvio a salir dicho mensaje, que he hecho mal? ya me dices si he hecho algo mal y por eso me sale esa ventana de advertencia.
