También la instalación de MySQL.
De mi problema se concluye que no se debe instalar Xampp o cualquier paquete similar en windows 64 bits porque
solo funcionan en 32 bits. Para windows 7 64 bits es necesario realizar la descarga de cada producto para 64 bits y configurarlo manualmente.
Muchas gracias a pateketrueke por inducirme considerar la incompatibilidad de xampp por estar en 32 bits. 
El tema esta cerrado, aunque no para mi porque continua mucha practica y dedicación para el aprendizaje de website dinámicos con PHP.
