Novato muy novato y los menus spry

Ante todo, hola a todos y felicitaros por este fantástico foro. Hace mucho tiempo que lo visito pero hasta ahora que no he necesitado que me echeis una mano, no me he decidido a registrarme.

El tema es que estoy haciendo una página web muy simple, sin grandes complicaciones, pero me he quedado "atascado" en los menús desplegables tipo spry de DW CS3, porque no consigo que el marco coincida con las palabras del menú (el menú desplegable es de la misma anchura que la pestaña del menú horizontal, y por este motivo las palabras más cortas no llegan al final del marco y las más largas, sobresalen por fuera del marco).

Os prometo que llevo tres dias probando todas las combinaciones posibles en SpryMenuBarHorizontal.css, pero nada. Que le vamos ha hacer, soy muy torpe.
