Código oficial del adapter ?

Buenas tardes,

Me gustaría que alguien me picara o me indicase donde puedo coger el código que hace :

Adapter.notifyDataSetChanged



Lo malo, es que en android developer no me sale prácticamente, nada con el tema
http://developer.android.com/reference/android/widget/BaseAdapter.html#notifyDataSetChanged()

"Notifies the attached observers that the underlying data has been changed and any View reflecting the data set should refresh itself."

Muy bonito, pero no veo el código en si.


Alguien sabe de lo que estoy hablando ? de picar el código des de "0" para mi clase sin usar un adapter ;)
