problema con code (rotar banners)

Saludos a todos, inetente usar un script que conseguí en mi panel de control de mi servicio (pago) de hosting.

La instrucción del código para rotar banner es la siguiente:

Welcome to the Entropy Banner Manager. From this managment console you can adjust the priority that each banner should get, upload and remove banners and change where the user will be redirected to when they click on a banner.

Add the following tag to the page where you want the banners to appear on:

<!--#exec cmd="cgi-bin/entropybanner.cgi"-->

Make sure you save your page with an .shtm or .shtml extension!


Previamante vía menú del mismo panel de control, seleccioné dos imágenes de 468x60 y el automáticamente me crea el directorio donde se encuentran las dos imágenen.

El problema es que cuando ejecuto la página en donde peagué el TAG
<!--#exec cmd="cgi-bin/entropybanner.cgi"--> como dice en la instrucción y guarde también dicha página con la extensión .shtm cómo dice la instrucción, no logro ver el banner, mas bien aparece esto

#exec cmd="cgi-bin/entropybanner.cgi" en el lugar en donde pegué el tag

Qué puede estar pasando.. ?
