Adaptador wifi muy lento

Tengo un adaptador wifi que coge la señal de la calle gracias a un contrato de servicios de acceso a una red privada. Tengo un repetidor a 500 metros y unas 20 conexiones, también de wifi, a mi alrededor.

El caso es que he reinstalado windows y el wifi me va mucho más lento que antes. He probado un acelerador de wifi (Auslogics Internet Optimizer) y me ha sacado 30 parámetros correctos y 28 parámetros incorrectos... pero no sé como arreglarlos.

¿Como puedo optimizar mediante windows la velocidad de mi wifi?

Es normal que una conexión a internet con tantos usuarios se ralentice y mas si estos usan torrents, ares u otro gestor de descargas como esos.

Haz preguntado de que capacidad es la conexión? has dicho 20 conexiones al rededor de esta conexión.

estas 20 conexiones son reales o son personas que también contrataron?

Recuerda que para una navegación optima debes tener un internet de 1 mega por PC cuando menos, aparte de si es posible que el roteador se encargue de limitar la conexión a cada PC para que no suceda que 1 pc consuma todos los recursos dejando al resto sin nada.

Los 20 usuarios que hay son usuarios de otras compañías (como movistar, vodafone, orange... también otras compañías de servicios wifi). Pero yo no uso router sino un adaptador inhalambrico de dos antenas de 12 Dbi cada una.
