Por que me sale un error al validar mi sitio en W3C

Por que me sale un error al validar mi sitio en el W3C, que esta mal, que le falta o que le puse demas? Miren el error que me sale al quererlo validar el sitio de validacion del w3c: Line 13, Column 85: required attribute "alt" not specified.

El error es claro, falta el atributo requerido alt (texto alternativo) en el tag <img>.
Agrega un texto alternativo en caso de que no se cargue la imagen.

Todas las imágenes deben tener un source (src) que es el origen de la imagen, y un alternative text (alt), que es el texto que aparecerá si la imagen no es encontrada. Suerte

Ah gracias, no sabia que era obligatorio tener ese texto, entonces se lo tengo que poner a fuerza?

Como alternativo, puedes poner el valor title (title), que mostrará un tooltip cuando el mouse pase sobre la imagen para mostrar un texto en relación a esta. Por supuesto, esta no es obligatoria...

Es que si el usuario ha deshabilitado la visión de imágenes, o el dispositivo desde el que se conecta no puede mostrarlas, el texto alternativo es lo único que se relaciona con la imagen que puede ser mostrado. Es más una cuestión de accesibilidad, creo yo, y por eso el validador te marca el error si no lo pones.

Y a todo eso, por qué no deseas ponerlo? Fácil, no lo pongas y no validas.

ASYNTETYCO: lee con atención, por favor, que siempre te pasa lo mismo.

Una cosa es el alt, que es obligatorio en las imágenes, que es el texto alternativo en caso de que alguien no vea tus imágenes, y otra cosa es el title que te comenta daPhyre, que sirve para que al psar el ratón aparezca el letrerito flotante con lo que quieras poner ahí, y no es obligatorio.

Tengo muchos errores al validar en w3c, al intentar repararlos, por cada uno que reparo me salen 3 nuevos errores mas, ¡AYUDENME!

Primero, te sugiero que cuando tengas un problema, abras un nuevo tema para este.

Segundo: Se recomienda que las etiquetas sean escritas en minúsculas, quizá esto genere problemas.

Tercero: ¿Podrías decirnos tu página? Eso nos ayudaría a localizar con mayor velocidad el origen de los errores. Suerte

yo por eso adoro leer mucho, practicar bastante y NO depender de programas de diseño, como adoro escribir código fuente!!!

bendito fue el mundo, cuando llego el HTML ... IE es satanás, la W3C es el santo grial del buen estilo.... y Mozilla, WebKit ... son como ángeles hermosos, el Dios ... ohh si, HTML

también hubo otros muchos ángeles caídos, Dreamweaver, Frontpage, etc, etc..

hem yo veo que la w3c le indica todos los errores que tiene....
es solo cosa de ir puliendolos como te dicen arriba olvidate del codigo sucio que ponen ediores como dremweaber o frontpage yo uso por ej. dremW.. pero solo para andar mas rapido con el codigo ya que me cierra las etiquetas solito :P..... y pone font y esas cosas al hacer <
