hola....
instale el ubuntu y el grub al parecer no sirve como deberia ... enves de aparecer directamente, aparece la parte de los comandos creo que asi se dice y ahi debo de apretar TAB y ESC para poder asi cargar la parte donde aparecen los sistemas operativos.....
¿COMO AGO PARA Q APARESCA SOLO?????

Yo no veo nada raro en tu "menu.lst". De todas maneras, hay algo que me gustaría que explicaras:

¿Cómo es eso que te aparece al principio, eso que llamas "la parte de los comandos"? ¿Qué se puede ver o leer ahí exactamente? ¿Cómo has sabido que tenías que pulsar TAB y ESC?

por ahora lo que piden ya lo habia hecho en otro foro pero haber si aca descubren el problema

(ahora aprieto ESC aunque no lo diga y aparece la lista donde abajo dice si aprietas c aparece en modo texto o algo asi. y aparece)

(las primeras veces antes de apretar TAB, escribia root y despues apretaba ESC. Apretando botones aprendi a pasar a la parte de la lista)

ya alguien sabe que es lo que le pasa al grub que no quiere mostrar la lista de los SO directamente????????????

Pues como ya te han dicho, no pareciera haber nada "inusual" en el menu.lst, tal vez el problema sea del MBR si es que lo instalaste ahí


De todas maneras, podrías probar reinstalar el grub en el MBR usando grub-install
