¿Como capturo la MAC ADDRESS de mi pc?

Alguien sabe como capturar la mac de mi placa de red?...con java..

Este ejemplo lo tengo desde hace mucho, lo saqué del foro de Sun Microsystems y espero que te sirva.

Quiero hacer una aclaración ...


Este código que aparece aquí no funciona para las versiones de Windows Vista en adelante...
Por el simple hecho de este cambio...
En windows XP..
ipconfig muestra algo así como ..
Dirección IP. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.3

y Windows Vista muestra algo así como..

Dirección IPv4. . . . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.3(Preferido)
y las dos salidas son muy diferente.. Vean el (Preferido) que muestra Vista..

Esto hará que la validación de terminación...

En el método de Windows...
if (line.endsWith(localHost) && lastMacAddress != null) {
return lastMacAddress;
}

nunca se haga..
POR QUE..
POR ESTO..
line.endsWith(localHost)

SIENDO localhost = "192.168.0.3" y como pueden ver la validación para terminar
es que esa ip este al final de la cadena leída...
y cuando llega a

192.168.0.3(Preferido)
debió de haber terminado...
Entonces les recomiendo que hagan pruebas y verán que no funciona en vista..
por tanto tampoco servirá para las futuras versiones de Windows que salgan.

Yo les aconsejo de que mire la posibilidad de cambiar la validación por la siguiente.. Para que funcione bien... y seguirá funcionando en xp y demás.
