Imagino—por una idea afín—que te referís a lo que, comúnmente, uno se encuentra com Versión imprimible del artículo/post.

Si es así; es un buen valor agregado, de cara al usuario. Pero no le aporta nada a la optimzación de la página.

pero puedes definir un css diferente para cada dispositivo que vaya a leer tu web:
