We are small greeting cards company and we need a website to show our products to shops and customers.
We already have a domain name and a very basic website.
Here are some ideas of how we want our website, section by section:
Homepage
- with slideshows and direct links to 2 collections of cards
- with latest news that brings you to the news section with one click
- log in / sign up shortcut-box for trade customers
About us
- few words about us, our mission and products
News
- image + paragraph in a table with a scroll bar BUT not a pop up window

Collections / Product gallery
- Left: menu with main products (greeting cards, diaries etc) and when you click on greeting cards, a submenu appears with occasions (all,birthday,wedding etc)
- Middle: Dynamic gallery of thumbnails with button to go to previous/next page

- The gallery is dynamic and thumbnails changes when you select an occasion/product in the left menu.

Contact us
3 ways: general / for buyers / for artists
- general: details of company/individuals and contact form to post email
- buyers: request catalogue, with detailed form for shops
- artists: graphic artists or photographers submitting artworks
Trade customers
- log in for existing accounts /sign up page for new buyers
- after logging in, the buyers can create an order by going into gallery, browsing and selecting products they want (putting them in basket). Then they check out and the order is sent to our mailbox (no payment)
- sign up / application for account with us by completing a form that will be later emailed to us.
