Sigue siendo la serie 500 o quinientos o cinquecento o five hundred o cinq cents o fünf hundert, pero con sus variantes como el Ford Focus ST, el Hatchback el Coupe... todos siguen siendo Focus aunque se vean diferentes, mi spiego?

No, no es asi. Con solo ver los autos se nota la diferencia, son cuanto menos dos (tres segun mi logica) modelos diferentes desarrollados a lo largo de los años. Ademas el Cinquecento no tiene traduccion (se vende con ese nombre) y el 500 esta en numero (idem) ... Capsci?

The Fiat 500 (the "cinquecento" from the Italian word for "500") is a car produced by the Fiat company of Italy between 1957 and 1975 (the Fiat 500 K alone was produced until 1977) and from 2007 on. It was designed by Dante Giacosa.

The Fiat Cinquecento was a city car designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro of Ital Design, launched by Fiat in late 1991 to replace the Fiat 126. It was the first Fiat model to be solely manufactured in the FSM plant in Tychy, Poland, which was just sold to Fiat by the Polish state, and where the production of the 126 (in its Polish variant, the Polski Fiat 126p) was still running. The production of the Cinquecento ended in 1998, when it was replaced by the Seicento.

A new Fiat 500 was announced by Italian automaker Fiat on May 5, 2006. Images of the new Fiat 500 were presented on March 20, 2007, and the car was launched officially July 4, 2007.
It will be built in Tychy, Poland, by Fiat Auto Poland alongside a sister model, the second generation Ford Ka (due for release in 2008), and the other city car in the Fiat range, the Panda.

Sino la hacemos facil, comprate en un futuro un Fiat Nuova 500 y cambiamelo sin cargo por un Fiat 500, incluso por un Cinquecento si tenes ganas.
