After installing the Oracle Instant Client and adding it to the "PATH" Environment Variable, be sure that you also add "Read & Execute" privileges to the Oracle Instant Client directory for the IIS user designated for the site. This is especially necessary if IIS has been hardened using the IIS Lockdown tool ( http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l...72(WS.10).aspx) as users must be explicitly granted permissions from the web.
