categoria en pagina

hola maestros, estuve investigando como insertar la lista de una categoria en una pagina. lo que hice fue crear una plantilla con el codigo del home (es del theme arras) con un comentario arriba del todo, asi:

para que me llame a la lista tendria que insertar esta query donde comienza el loop:

Te confieso que odio con todo ese theme ... pero para tu alivio, no es con el código del home que te tienes que guiar, sino con el de el archivo page.php, si es que lo tiene...

tenias razon en dos cosas, en que te hace odiarlo y en lo del archivo page.php (que de por cierto si esta!)

para que me funcione inserte el codigo en este lugar, por si a alguien le sirve:

donde la ID es el numero de id de la categoria a llamar.
