 Cómo instalo el gcc 4.0??? Holas, estuve viendo la documentac pero no entiendo mucho, asi q les pregunto a ustedes, me bajé el compilador gcc 4.0 pero... como lo instalo?? no le puedo hacer la misma cosa del ./configure xq me va a decir q falta el compilador no??? jejeje

| yo bueno, me baje ahora el rpm del gcc, pero sigue la pregunta... como lo instalo con el ubuntu?? xq lo ejecuto y me sale una ventana donde tengo la opcion extract y no se si con eso será suficiente

| por que no lo haces con APT?, para buscar si esta en los reporsitorios es apt-cache search nombre_paquete si lo tienes solo haz sudo apt-get install gcc solo actualiza las fuentes antes con sudo apt-get update. |

| RPM es el sistema de paquetes de Red Hat (usado también en otras distros). Ubuntu usa el sistema de paquetes DEB. Usa apt si quieres actualizar tu gcc. Ten cuidado: puedes provocar graves daños a tu sistema si no sabes lo que estás haciendo. BTW, ¿para qué quieres hacer eso?

| he intentado instalar el php4 con el apt-get install php4 (intente ponerle php5, pehp4, php3, etc) pero me sale q no ha podido encontrar el paquete... tengo el tar del php pero a la hora de hacer ./configure me sale algo de "lex output file root..." ./configure: line 2422: lex: command not found configure: error: cannot find output from lex; giving up" alguien podria ayudarme con esto x favoooorr???

| Postea tu archivo /etc/apt/sources.list. Seguramente no tienes configurados los repositorios. ¿Leíste la guía de Ubuntu?
