¿Cómo mostrar la ventana propiedades de un archivo?

Esa es la cuestión, de que manera puedo mostrar la ventana de propiedades de un archivo (la que aparece al hacer clic en el menu "Propiedades" del menú contextual). Eso sería nada más. Espero puedan ayudarme y gracias.
