hi all, im totally newbie with posgreSql and i would greatly appreciate if someone here helps me.
i've managed to install and bind together apache2.x and php4.3.1 but i cannot bind posgreSql into it. I've surfed he web trying to find why but i simple cannot get it.
My problem is that nomatter what posgre doesnt seem to 'find' my localhost server. Ive tryed with PGAdminIII{Adress:localhost;Port:[80:5432]} ive tryed with port 80 and 5432 neither works. Ive modiffied apache conf to listen 5432 and modified php.ini to manage the pg extension but it continue to fail in the connectio attempt{conection time out or simply the connection hangs my pc and i have to ctrl-alt-supr the admin to end it - over an hour waiting}
