Seleccionar Fila de un DataGrid

Buenas, he estado buscando en el foro y en google pero no consigo que me funcione. Como puedo hacer que un usuario pueda pincharme una fila de un DataGrid y se esta se vea seleccionada y además devolverme un dato para que posteriormente con el click de un botón ese dato lo introduzca en un Report.
