Pues eso, fue mi sorpresa al intentar compilar un programa que necesita del kernel source y al ver que no estaba en el cdrom, me fije en google y encontre esto:

the inconvenience. If you need KDE translations or the pre-patched (with
ext3 and ptrace fixes) kernel source package, you can pick them up here:
