After downgrading the A57 to Windows XP, the USB ports are not working properly.
Answer
1. Boot into BIOS
2. Reset BIOS to default
3. Go to Device -> Floppy Driver Setup --> Disabled
4. Security -> Fingerprint -> Disabled
5. Startup -> Primary boot sequence -> 1) CD/DVD rom 2) Hard Disk
6. Exit (Save changes and exit)
7. Insert "Rescue and Recovery DVD" in CD/DVD rom
8. Choose "Start Rescue and recovery in advance mode"
9. Choose "System Recovery" then "Factory Recovery"
10. Click "No" if system asking for supplemental CD's
11. Once done, put in "Product Recovery DVD"
12. System will then shut down a while with mouse pointer in the center, leave it for several hours.
13. Once PC is in sleep mode, press power button to shut down the PC.
14. Boot the system back up and installation will start. Do take note that the system might prompt to reboot several times with screen messages "Preload System Setup" and "Preload customization in progress".
15. Once it is done, boot normally into Windows XP, check USB ports if working.
No tengo los discos de rescate, si los consigo no pierdo nada con probar, pero me pregunto, ¿por qué habría de servir? ¿Que operación estaría haciendo el disco de rescate que me permita recuperar los puertos USB? En estos momentos mi cerebro está un poco saturado, pero se los comparto para saber su opinión.
