Problema de validación HTML con Wordpress

Buenos días,

Es la primera vez que utilizo wordpress, siempre programé mis webs.
Soy un poco maniático de que todas mis webs pasen el validador de HTML (http://validator.w3.org/) y CSS (http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/).

Tengo wordpress última versión instalado y un tema gratuito, pero si paso el validador HTML en la portada me salta el siguiente error:

The error was: utf8 "\xC3" does not map to Unicode

No tengo ni idea (por estar empezando en wordpress) de por donde puedo empezar a mirar para hacer validar mi Web, haber si alguien me puede guiar.
