apache y php con xampp

Tengo windows 10. Instale xampp, todo funciona bien hasta que quiero activar en el php.ini la registre_globals=on, en ese momento deja de funcionar apache y da el siguiente error. Si alguien puede ayudarme lo agradeceré.
