This problem occurs because your VGA card cannot enable the overlay function. We suggest the following: - Close any other application that would also use overlay function (like Windows MediaPlayer or other DVD players).
- Since most display cards support only one overlay, Power DVD will not be able to access it, if it is being used by other applications.
- Install the latest version of Direct X - available from http://www.microsoft.com/directx
