Si los archivos no son grandes puedes usar curl: http://php.net/manual/es/book.curl.php y enviarlo por post. Si no es el caso, lo mejor es enviarlos mediante otro protocolo como scopy, sftp, ftp. Si no quieres hacer este proceso de forma manual puedes usar flysystem: https://github.com/thephpleague/flysystem puedes envira archivos mediante ftp o sftp.
