HL2.exe - Error de aplicación

Hola, hoy sin motivo cuando he intentado iniciar el Counter Strike: Source me ha salido este error:

P.D. No es problema de Hardware.
Lo he intentado volver a instalar pero este error me sale en todos los juegos HL2 -Source, como el day of defeat source o el HL2...

Seguramente si te pasa en todos los juegos instalados será de Windows que se te a desconfigurado. Puede ser a causa de algún virus o algo parecidoo que has tocado algo del Registro que no devias :).

Haz esto para restaurar el sistema al punto anterior de que te diera ningún error, piensa que si haces esto se borrarán los archivos que hayan sido guardados despues del punto en el que quieres restaurar:

Si Windows XP se inicia

1. Inicie sesión en Windows como administrador.
2. Haga clic en Inicio, seleccione Todos los programas, Accesorios, Herramientas del sistema y, a continuación, haga clic en Restaurar sistema. Se inicia Restaurar sistema.
3. En la pantalla Restaurar sistema, haga clic en Restaurar mi equipo a un estado anterior (si no se había seleccionado ya) y en Siguiente.
4. En la página Seleccione un punto de restauración, haga clic en el punto de control del sistema más reciente de la lista Haga clic en un punto de restauración de esta lista y, a continuación, haga clic en Siguiente. Puede aparecer un mensaje de Restaurar sistema que enumera los cambios de configuración que se harán. Haga clic en Aceptar.
5. En la pantalla Confirmar la selección del punto de restauración, haga clic en Siguiente. Restaurar sistema vuelve a la configuración anterior de Windows XP y, después, reinicia el equipo.
6. Inicie sesión en el equipo como administrador. Aparece la pantalla Restauración finalizada de Restaurar sistema.
7. Haga clic en Aceptar.

Solución de problemas
Inadvertidamente, puede restaurar Windows XP a una configuración anterior que no desea. Para deshacer la restauración:

1. Inicie sesión en Windows como administrador.
2. Haga clic en Inicio, seleccione Todos los programas, Accesorios, Herramientas del sistema y, a continuación, haga clic en Restaurar sistema. Se inicia Restaurar sistema.
3. En la pantalla Restaurar sistema, haga clic en Deshacer la última restauración y, después, en Siguiente. Puede aparecer un mensaje de Restaurar sistema que enumera los cambios de configuración que se harán. Haga clic en Aceptar.
4. En la página Confirmar deshacer restauración, haga clic en Siguiente. Restaurar sistema vuelve a la configuración original de Windows XP y, después, reinicia el equipo.
5. Inicie sesión en el equipo como administrador. Aparece la pantalla Se completó el comando deshacer de Restaurar sistema.
6. Haga clic en Aceptar.

Lo e copiado de la página oficial de Windows a si que te tendría que venir bien explicado, se supone, jeje. Si esto no te funciona, pues solo que queda formatear el ordenador si quieres jugar a algún juego .

Ya lo he solucionado, pero mi windows xp no tiene el modo restauración xD
Era un problema de NVIDIA...
