aqui estoy para lloraros un poco
El tema es que tengo ubuntu dapper instalado, mi tarjeta gráfica es una arcaica "RIVA TNT2 Model 64/Model 64 Pro" y puestos a pedir quería meterle la aceleración gráfica. Para ello en teoría bastaría con instalar con el paquete nvidia-glx-legacy con sus dependencias, y editar el /etc/X11/xorg.conf para que cargue el modulo de nvidia en lugar del nv, asegurarse que carga el glx y quitar el dri y algun otro...
La cuestión es que he hecho todos los pasos y al ir a reinicar gdm --> /etc/init.d/gdm start lo que consigo es una "maravillosa" pantalla negra con cuelgue del sistema
En un intento de desesperación he reiniciado y he revisado el fichero var/log/Xorg.log a ver si arrojaba algo de luz.
