Enviar contraseña olvidada con PHPBB

Hola, tengo instalado en mi web el foro phpbb y me gustaria que cuando los usuarios ponen su direcion de correo y su usuario para que se les envie un email con una nueva contraseña, en los encabezados del mensaje se incluyese la IP de la persona que pide el envio, como ocurre con el envio masivo.

Lo he intentado poniendo en el /includes/usercp_sendpasswd.php el siguiente codigo, pero no funciona.

¿Que puedo hacer para que al enviar el mail se incluya en el encabezado la IP del que pide que se envie el mail?

Esto me es util para evitar que usuarios malintencionados envien emails sin fuste.

Nadie me podria dar aunque sea una idea es que no se modificar cabeceras
