Problema de Instalación vBulletin

Hola, quisiera como arreglar la problema de instalación del foro vBulletin:

The database has failed to connect because you do not have permission to connect to the server. Please confirm the values entered in the 'includes/config.php' file.


Si tengo dreamwaver, abro config.php, no se como editarlo

mi pagina es darktempeststudios com... (eh, porque necesito 30 mensajes para postear mi imagen y enlaces... injusto..)

Yo diria que lo que pasa es que has puesto algo mal , el nombre de usuario o la base de datos .


Si el problema es que no has cambiado el config lo abres con el wordpad o el dreamweaver y pones tus datos nombre de la base de datos tu nombre de usuario para la base de datos y la contraseña si tienes contraseña para la base de datos lo subes y eso tendria que funcionarte.

$config['Database']['tableprefix'] = ''; - pon el prefijo de las tablas de la base de datos para vBulletin, te recomiendo "vbulletin_".

$config['MasterServer']['username'] = 'root'; - Pon tu usuario de la base de datos
$config['MasterServer']['password'] = ''; - Pon tu contraseña.

$config['Misc']['forumpath'] = ''; - Pon la ruta de tu foro, si es que lo tienes en local y usas windows seria algo asi: "C:\apache\www\foro\" y si lo tubieras en Linux: "/var/www/virtual/tusitio.com/htdocs/foro"
