Apache se para

Hola, mi nombre es Jose Antonio y tengo un problema gordo, resulta que tengo el apache corriendo en windows 2003 server sp2 con una aplicación que utiliza el apache 1.3.33 y se para cuando mejor le parece con el siguiente error:

Voy a deducir lo siguiente a ver si es lo que supongo.

Supongo que la herramienta que emplearon para ese desarrollo fue java, correcto?
Si fue así, supongo que utilizan un servidor de aplicaciones (web application server) como tomcat o uno de pago, correcto?

Me imagino eso, debido a que hace unos años estaba en un proyecto grande donde el vendedor era GBM con su Web Appication Server y el desarrollo estaba en java, ellos debieron pulir el servidor de aplicaciones para que cada determinado tiempo generara respaldos rotativos para que los archivos log no fueran tan grande, cantidad de memoria que debe utilizar la aplicación, etc.

Si tu desarrollo es algo similar, te recomiendo vean los parámetros del servidor de aplicaciones para que lo depuren.
