error del apache al ejecutarlo

Veamos que ahora tengo otro error con el apache.
Ya lo instale en mi distro, apache 2.2.4 y php 5.2, todo bien, pero cuando ingreso al localhost, me sale que no encuentra la página.
Al ejecutar el comando apachectl restart me sale el siguiente mensaje...

httpd: apr_sockaddr_info_get() failed for slack-theghost
httpd: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 127.0.0.1 for ServerName
httpd not running, trying to start

cuando le doy apachectl stop me sale

httpd: apr_sockaddr_info_get() failed for slack-theghost
httpd: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 127.0.0.1 for ServerName
httpd (no pid file) not running

y cuando le doy apachectl start me sale

httpd: apr_sockaddr_info_get() failed for slack-theghost

tengo que modificar algo en el httpd.conf??? y que parte?

Bueno por fin quité esos mensajes de error, yendo al archivo de configuración del apache (httpd.conf) y me dí cuenta que estaba comentado la linea de ServerName, entonces lo descomenté.
Sin embargo ahora me sale otro error pero referente al httpd...

cuando ejecuto apachectl restart me sale...

httpd not running, trying to start

ok entonces me dispongo a iniciar httpd y ejecuto httpd -k start y no sale ningún error, entonces pienso que ya se arreglo, pero en el navegador, localhost me dice que no encuentra página.

Si ejecuto apachectl stop me sale...

httpd (no pid file) not running

Alguna solución???
