Cita: ¿En qué momento exacto aparece, y en qué momento exacto desaparece? ¿Qué está cargando Ubuntu justo antes y después de que aparezca y desaparezca? ¿Podrías describir mejor ese cuadro? Tamaño, comportamiento (parpadeos...), ubicación exacta, color...
Aparece justo al cargarse el escritorio (cuando inicio ubuntu) y no te puedo decir cuando desaparece porque es algo aleatorio (o se quita a los pocos minutos o, como antes me pasó, tarda algo mas en desaparecer). El cuadro es de un tamaño de unos 2-3 cms y aparece en la parte superior izquierda de la pantalla. Se trata de una serie de lineas verticales de color grisáceo con algun color intercalado como de interferencias pero fijas, sin parpadear; como cuando se produce un fallo en un gráfico (no sabría como explicartelo mejor).
En cuanto a mi tarjeta grafica: creo que es una ATI rage XL pero no te lo puedo asegurar porque estoy conectado desde ubuntu y no controlo este sistema operativo (y no recuerdo exactamente el modelo de lo mala que era). De los controladores, no tengo ni idea de cuales hay instalados (supongo que los que te instala por defecto el SO) solo se que, al instalar Ubuntu, me salio una ventana para actualizarlo y eso fue lo que hice.
