Haz click derecho en un espacio vacio del escritorio -- > Propiedades, y te aparecen las configuraciones de tu monitor. Te vas a la ultima pestania (en inglés es "settings"), y ahi tienes la resolucion y los colores del monitor.
Seria raro que no se solucionara nada asi.

The monitor should be “plug and play” for most systems. Just follow the directions, plug in the power cord, connect the 15-pin D-Sub signal cable to your computer, hit the Power button and voila! You should have pictures. If your input cable is not properly connected, you will get a color bar pattern - this way you know that the power is working fine, but the computer is not accepting input
Yo tampoco encuentro tu driver, me temo que es Plug & Play a secas.
Vigila las conexiones, y si da fallos, quita y vuelve a poner la tarjeta de video, seguro que esta floja.
